In karate-do, you compete only against yourself. Competing against others is optional.

Our School teaches the Shotokan style of karate founded by Gichin Funakoshi.

Our Karate training emphasized flexibility and speed and is an excellent way of
maintaining physical and mental well being.

Brute force is not required, thus men, women and children can all participate
successfully.

Character building principles taught in Karate training are respect for others, self-discipline, confidence,
self-defense and improved concentration, all of which are particularly important for children.

There is also a focus on keeping the classes enjoyable.

Each student is encouraged to work at his or her
own pace and to have fun.

Guest instructors, innovative teaching aids, and additional training clinics
are also part of the school program.
