Our Mission is to teach the physical, mental and moral principles of Karate, stressing the highest ethical standards.

What is Karate?
Karate was developed centuries ago as a means of self-defense used by weaponless famers protecting themselves agains sword-carrying warriors and bandits. In fact, blocking an attack is the first move of any kata, or prescribed series of movements learned in Karate.

Our Karate training emphasized flexibility and speed and is an excellent way of maintaining physical and mental well being. Brute force is not required, thus women, men and children can all participate successfully.

Character building principles taught in Karate training are respect for others, self-discipline, confidence, self-defense and improved concentration, all of which are particularly important for children.

There is also a focus on keeping the classes enjoyable. Each student is encouraged to work at his or her own pace and to have fun. Guest instructors, innovative teaching aids, and additional training clinics are also part of the school program.
